PEMO pumps for Skanderborg Forsyning

Rubber-lined pumps for pumping abrasive media.

In collaboration with Skanderborg Forsyning, RH Pumper has worked on an exciting project where the problem was to find a pump that could pump abrasive media and at the same time deliver the correct pressure for optimal efficiency of the cyclones.

The solution to the problem was to install two rubber-lined pumps from PEMO Pumps – a pump that we have only had good experience with for pumping abrasive media.

A two-piece rubber liner is inserted in the pump housing, which is excellent at absorbing wear from particles. A heavy-duty double mechanical shaft seal is fitted, cooled and lubricated by the unique internal lubrication system. The lubrication system is mounted on the side of the pump and contributes to great flexibility as an external source of water is no longer a necessity.

Pemo provides a wide product program within slurry and sludge pumps. The pumps are divided into horizontal pumps, vertical pumps, multistage pumps and submersible pumps. Each Pemo pump is manufactured specifically for the job. This ensures the right pump selection – every time!

The pumps can be used in a wide range of industries, including

  • Concrete industry
  • Gravel pits
  • OFMSW – Biogas
  • Filter presses
  • Chemistry
  • The pharmaceutical industry
  • Food industry

RH Pumper is an importer of PEMO pumps – we are ready to advise you!

Here’s How a Pump Service Inspection Is Performed

During a service inspection, the submersible pump is removed from the well, cleaned, and inspected item by item—mechanical components, electrical system, controls, and alarms. The pump is test-run, and each inspection is documented in a service report with photos, so its condition can be tracked from one service visit to the next.

How to Choose Your Service Partner for Pumps

Choose a service partner for pumps based on manufacturer independence, an in-house workshop and spare parts inventory, response time in the event of an emergency breakdown, access to a loaner pump, expertise in both mechanics and electrical/automation, and a preventive maintenance plan. For critical operations, response time and the availability of a loaner pump are the most important factors.
