A level rocker – also known as a float switch – is a mechanical sensor that “rocks” depending on the liquid level. When the level rises, the rocker floats up and activates a contact point inside the rocker. It can be used to turn a pump on or off, sound an alarm or activate other controls.
Level switches are widely used in wastewater, rainwater, drainage and industrial fluids. They can be installed quickly and work without electronics or programming.
