A bend is a pipe component used to change the direction of fluid flow in a piping system – typically at angles of 45° or 90°, but also at special angles when needed. Used on both the pressure and suction side of pumping systems, elbows are customized to the current installation so that pipes or hoses can be routed safely without kinks, tension or leaks.
Bends are particularly useful for temporary bypass pumping where pipelines need to follow terrain, passages or building structures.
