RH Pumps in Slagelse, Lolland-Falster, and Bornholm

Slagelse -RH Pumpers Headquarters

Headquarters, workshop, and our largest warehouse—two kilometers from the E20. This is where the resources that all three departments draw on when a project grows are located, and it’s from here that our own technicians head out to Zealand and Bornholm.

Do you have an urgent problem—or are you planning a project?

Choose your path. Whether you have an urgent need right now or are planning for the long term, we’re here to help.

Emergency

I need help right now

A pump failure, flooding, or a pumping station that has stopped working. Our emergency response team is staffed around the clock, year-round, and from Slagelse we have access to both the equipment and the people who know how to use it.

Project

I'm planning a project

A reliable pumping solution begins long before the pumps are even started up. Our engineers and sales department are based in Slagelse and assist with sizing, pump selection, and planning the overall solution.

The fastest pump is the one that's already ready to go

When a pumping station comes to a standstill, the question is rarely which pump is technically the right one. It’s about how quickly it can be on site. A pump that first has to be shipped from a factory in Europe won’t help a construction site that’s drowning today.

That’s why the warehouse in Slagelse isn’t just a warehouse. It’s about response time.

And the task involves more than just the pump’s capacity. Piping, lift height, flow, access conditions, control, monitoring, and backup all work together to determine what’s actually feasible on-site. That’s why we start with the task at hand—not with a catalog page.

List of Situations

  • The pumping station is not operating
  • Water levels rise during heavy rain
  • The construction project cannot drain properly
  • The sewage pump has burned out
  • Temporary Drainage During Renovation
  • Mission-critical systems must not fail

From Slagelse, it’s a short trip to most of Zealand

We handle the pumping project from start to operation

The services are naturally interconnected: from emergency bypass pumping to the turnkey wastewater treatment plant. One team, one responsibility.

Bypass pumping

Reliable, quiet, and environmentally friendly bypass pumping with electric self-priming pumps ranging from 200 to 1,800 m³/h.

  • Full SRO monitoring 24/7

  • From small ditches to large utility projects

When is bypass pumping necessary?

When water needs to be temporarily diverted around a facility—for example, during renovation, a breakdown, or drainage of a construction site.

Pump service and repair

Our own experienced technicians keep your pumps running—whether for preventive maintenance or emergency repairs. We have both a stationary and a mobile workshop.

  • Service Agreements and Troubleshooting
  • Mobile repair service throughout Jutland

How often should a pump be serviced?

It depends on the system and the load—but a fixed-term service agreement helps prevent most unplanned downtime.

Our own people, our own gear

Everything the task requires is within the same fence

Engineers, the quoting department, the workshop, the spare parts warehouse, and field technicians are all located at the same address in Slagelse. This means that there’s no need to coordinate a design, a spare part, or a technician across three different suppliers—they’re all just three doors apart.

We are not a service company that answers the phone during office hours. We are an on-call service. The on-call team is staffed 24 hours a day, year-round, and all bypass pumping operations are managed, regulated, and monitored around the clock with direct contact to the technician on the job.

Depth as the task grows

All three branches—Slagelse, Them, and Värmdö—have equipment, technicians, and workshops for day-to-day operations. Most tasks are handled locally by staff who know the area and can arrive on site the fastest.

But pumping projects tend to grow. The inflow is greater than expected. The piping has to run farther than planned. The system turns out to require something no one had anticipated. That’s where the main warehouse in Slagelse comes in.

This is where the bulk of RH Pumpers’ fleet of equipment is housed, along with the spare parts warehouse, and it is from here that equipment is dispatched for jobs throughout the country. Not because the branches lack anything they need for day-to-day operations, but because none of them should have to turn down a job that suddenly requires more resources.

We work with portable pumps, self-priming pumps, electric pumps, motor-driven pumps, and diesel pumps. The choice depends on the fluid, capacity, head, and on-site access conditions.

We provide pumping services throughout Zealand and Bornholm

Regardless of the industry, we understand the requirements for operational reliability, documentation, and prompt action. We speak the language of both technicians and building owners.

A decision is just around the corner

The headquarters is also where decisions are made. If a solution needs to deviate from the standard, or if a decision must be made regarding an unusual task, there is no headquarters in another country that needs to be consulted first.
This location houses technicians, project managers, engineers, procurement, sales, and administration. This means that technical consulting, planning, materials, service, and execution are closely integrated.

Flushing

Flushing of process pipes: High reliability from day one

When clean pipes are not just a requirement, but critical success criteria, proper flushing becomes a key part of any commissioning. RH Pumper delivered high performance, rapid mobilization and specialist technical knowledge for an extensive project on Zealand – with pipe dimensions up to 700 mm.

Technical Knowledge About Pumps and Bypass Pumping

We share our expertise so you can make the right decisions—and understand what we recommend and why.

Which pump should I choose?

It depends on the medium, the required capacity, the lift height, the piping, and the conditions at the installation site. The pump should be selected based on the overall application and not on a single specification—a pump with ample capacity can easily be the wrong choice if the head or access conditions are not suitable.

Diesel or electric pump?

Both can be true. Electric pumps are quiet and have lower operating costs, but require an on-site power supply. Diesel pumps are independent of the power supply and are therefore often the choice when there is no electricity or when operations cannot depend on it. We work with both.

What is a wastewater pumping station?

A facility that pumps wastewater from low-lying areas to the main sewer system. Typically equipped with two pumps, a control system, and an alarm. We supply complete stations, from design through to commissioning.

Why does the location of the warehouse matter?

Because waiting for equipment is the part of an emergency job that is hardest to make up for. Having a stock of pumps, pipes, and spare parts on-site shortens the time from the initial phone call to getting water flowing through the pipes.
